CD Stump Grinding & Land Management is owned and operated by Chad Sage. A loving husband and devoted father of two, Chad has chosen a path that will allow more flexibility to be with his family. What was once a fleeting thought developed into a labor of love and now a fully functioning business that we want to share with our friends, family and the community we live in.
After a playing and coaching career in baseball, Chad decided to take his passion for landscape beyond the field. His love for the outdoors led him on a new journey within the tree service industry. Working onsite with a friend in the stump grinding business, he quickly grew the skills and a love for the trade.
A coach must see that their field is properly cared for and left clean the same is true for any job site. Stump grinding is tedious and requires the same precision and attention to detail that is ingrained in a baseball player or coach. Our family is beyond excited for this new venture as it will not only allow Chad to continue to grow and hone a new skill, but mostly because it is a way, we can continue serving the community that has blessed us over the years. We are located in Gainesville, GA but proudly serve surrounding cities and Northeast Georgia region.
